Sometimes, a little creativity is all you need to take care of your future.That is the case of Jordyn Boyer, a South Lebanon Township girl who recently won first place and a $25,000 scholarship for her sandwich recipe in a contest sponsored by J.M. Smucker Co., makers of Jif Peanut Butter.
She won the seventh annual Jif Most Creative Peanut Butter Sandwich Contest. Her recipe? Po’ Boy Peanut Butter Chicken Cheesesteak Sandwich, a combination of the Philadelphia cheesesteak and a Louisiana po' boy, topped with peanut butter-based sauce.
