Each late summer and fall we had endured the rainy season. It could surely turn some dry, cobbled roads, no doubt, into rushing rivers within an hour's time.
In an attempt to eagerly show off their version of chile rellenos, it was the same season that brought poblano chiles to become avid cooks.
The favored chile of Mexico, is Poblano chiles. When one steps into a marketplace, they earthy fragrance definitely greets you prior to setting one's eyes on the poblanos which spill from the sacks that are very much tantalizing and gummy.
