Please give us a short summary of your website?

Enjoy French food without a lot of fuss. All the easy French recipes featured here are designed with today's busy cook in mind. You can also find out a lot of fun information on French culture and food. Written by an American living in France for the past 17 years. An invitation to enjoy your food as the French do.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I want to help people pay more attention to their food and therefore enjoy it more.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

This is my first website.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

I wanted to include the fact that French food deosn't need to be difficult to understand or prepare.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

My website is written from my personal experience of living in France for 17 years and raising and feeding a family here.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

I would like to have a site that inspires people to slow down and enjoy their food, to learn to take pleasure in the abundance that is offered them.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

So far I've invested a little money and recieved no monetary reward. However, I have been enjoying learning about how the web works and I love to write.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

I'm a full time mom trying to incorporate a full-time job into my day.

What has been your biggest challenge?

I'm a full time mom trying to incorporate a full-time job into my day.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Adding content.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

It's a lot more work than I imagined!

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

It's not even 100 days old. I'll keep going for at least a year and then see how things are.
